You will work hands on, in the field, ensuring systems are installed by others correctly and sensors and equipment are properly calibrated. You’ll do simple field programming and perform incredibly thorough testing. Once you’re proud of how well the system is operating, you’ll get to show it off while training the customer on how to use it.
A typical workday varies since our field engineers travel from their home to various project sites around the country. On Monday, a technician could be in Philadelphia, Tuesday – Wednesday in Washington, D.C., Thursday in Chicago, and Friday back in Philadelphia. Our workweek is Monday through Friday, although at times, technicians can volunteer to work on a weekend in return for a bonus.
